You mean, you don't watch A Christmas Story when it's on for the 24 hour marathon? Gasp!

Aaahh, Scrooged! is a family tradition around here. Buster Poindexter and Carol Kane crack me up to no end.

But I'm what... 38 and still can't watch Wizard of Oz? Those dang blue monkeys. Ugh.

*G* The Grinch and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Love them!

And Nestor the Long Eared Donkey.
A Year without A Santa Claus.

I second Shiloh's Year Without A Santa Claus. I love the Miser brothers.

But not that piece of crap live-action version NBC did last year. That sucked. :(

LOL ok I agree with almost all of those. Dislike the Wizard of Oz though LOL

Great list, but since we're both sharing the same province and weather patterns, maybe you could hold off on discusssing Christmas movies until we're well into summer? I don't want to encourage the snow to return!

Showing my age here (eeek) but when I was a kid, The Wizard of Oz came on once a year at Thanksgiving and my family would sit and watch it together. Ah the good old days!

I love Scrooged!

It's A Wonderful Life - must see, as well as Christmas Story.

Here's a weird one: The Ref. It reminds me of the holidays with my husbands family.

what about Meet Me in St Louis - great Christmas themed film, and you can't go past It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street, and the musical Scrooge.

You forgot A Christmas Story, that this is on every year, lol.

What a great list of Holiday shows. You know Christmas is right around the corner. Really it is. Have a great TT. :)

I spend Christmas in Siem Reap, Cambodia each year. The folks there do not celebrate the holiday, but Santa is nonetheless everywhere.

I agree about A Christmas Story, now a classic. You'll shoot your eye out!

I can't go see The Nutcracker anymore because we HAD to see it every single year when I was little, sometimes twice.

Great list. I love the Muppets and Peanuts.

I also love The Muppet Family Christmas. It's my favorite.

*starts humming Haul out the Holly, a definite improvement over what was in my head prior*

Great List! I will have to immediately purge it from my mind once I leave because I can't think about Christmas until Halloween is over. But while I was here, it brought all the good christmas fuzzies. Thanks :)

Oh, I love Christmas movies! My present to myself every year is one new one. This year, I've got to remember to get them out of the attic early enough to watch them all!
